Clean and germ-free water is essential for human survival. This is all the more important when you are travelling in places around the world where clean water cannot be taken for granted. The Yukon water filter is a robust and resilient companion. It reliably removes 99,9999 % spores, protozoa, bacteria and sediments. At 0.1 microns (=0.0001 mm), the pores of the filter ceramic are considerably smaller than microorganisms. The service life of the ceramic filter cartridge is approx. 10,000 litres (depending on the degree of contamination of the water).

The NMC filter granulate (nano-metal clusters on porous ceramic spheres) inside the secondary filter eliminates heavy metal ions, residues of microorganisms and organic chemicals such as fluorine, ammonia or nitrogen dioxide in the water. The scope of delivery includes a sediment pre-filter and an NMC after-filter. Post-filters and ceramic filters are available separately as spare parts.
